After two years of COVID-cancellations, Grands’n’More Winnipeg again will be collecting 100s of donated art pieces of all styles, sizes, media, subjects, eras for our one-day Art from the Attic sale.
Thanks to the generosity of St. Vital Centre, the sale will be held in their Centre Court area.
This fundraiser is in support of sub-Saharan African grandmothers who are caring for their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren. Yes – the AIDS pandemic continues to devastate African communities, and, the grandmothers’ untiring efforts have been made more difficult in the face of demands on resources to respond to COVID.
There’s a benefit for Winnipeggers, too! Donors will find a good home for your art where it will be appreciated. For buyers, lots of beautiful choices of art to decorate your home.
Art donations may be made from today for the sale on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Contact us at 204-451-7132 or gnmafta@gmail.com to get information about how to drop-off art, or to arrange for one of our volunteer drivers to come collect your art pieces. NOTE: PLEASE ensure all items are hangable and in good condition.
Our past art sales and auctions have resulted in sending over $158,000 to the grandmothers, through the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers-to- Grandmothers Campaign. (www.grandmotherscampaign.org)
