The City is doing two more mass planting times at Eccles and Churchill Dr:
Wed., May 24, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Thursday, May 18th, 10am to 12pm.
For Wednesday, May 24th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm – pls e-mail Nick directly, so the crew can ensure that 5 or more community folks will be there. NMoore@winnipeg.ca
Bring shovels if you have them (and remember to take them home!), wear gloves, wear old clothes (esp. if it’s wet). The City also has tools, and will bring the bare-root stock, dowels, and (hopefully) “sleeves” to protect the items from voles/rabbits/etc.
We are SO fortunate to get even more diversity and increased numbers of new shrubs/trees.
