As the orange dot ‘tagging’ of our neighbourhood elms continues apace, many of us may be wondering what can be done to save these beautiful trees from Dutch Elm Disease and a variety of other stresses and afflictions.
It turns out that some of these afflictions may be prevented and controlled. If you’d like to know more about this, join Trees Riverview at a free Tree Injection Demonstration by Green Drop near the south entrance of Fisher Park on September 14. Drop in from 2:00 to 6:00 pm to see this in action and get some questions answered from a certified arborist. Trees Winnipeg will be there with information that we think you’ll find helpful and interesting.
