Celebrating Ten Years of the Frost Bite River Run at Riverview Community Centre
The Frost Bite River Run is back and in person at the Riverview Community Centre. It’s our 10th anniversary and it’s going to be a FROSTRAVAGANZA! More prizes, great runner swag, an awesome medal, incredible food before and after the race, a great community vibe, and amazing volunteers will make our tenth year the best ever.
The Frostbite River Run is a fundraiser supporting programming and activities at Riverview Community Centre and part of the Riverview Winter Classic: a series of outdoor events held in January and February at the community centre embodying the spirit of winter sports in our neighbourhood.
The Frost Bite River Run is special for a whole lot of reasons…
- It’s happening in the deepest and darkest of winter months. Nothing says Winnipeg-tough like a winter run on a frozen river in January.
- Choose your distance – 5 miles or 5 kilometres.
- Great draw prizes and a special finishers medal!
- All net-proceeds support Riverview Community Centre programming and activities!
