The Frost Bite River Run is back for its 11th fabulous year at the Riverview Community Centre. You’re invited to join 149 other runners for fun prizes, great swag, an awesome medal, incredible food before and after the race, and a great community vibe.
FBRR 11 is happening Sunday, January 21st. Both the 5-mile and 5-kilometre events start at 10:00 a.m. Event bib pick-up is scheduled for Friday, January 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday (event morning) from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
The Frostbite River Run is part of the Riverview Winter Classic: a series of outdoor events held in January and February at the community centre that embodies the spirit of winter sports in our neighbourhood.
The Frost Bite River Run is special for a whole lot of reasons…
- It’s happening in the deepest and darkest of winter months. Nothing says Winnipeg-tough like a winter run on a frozen river in January.
- Choose your distance – 5 miles or 5 kilometers.
- Great draw prizes and a special finishers medal!
- All net-proceeds support Riverview Community Centre programming and activities!
