Youth Soccer 2023 Registration Open Until March 20th
Youth soccer applies to players aged 9 – 18 and is run in two seasons.
The outdoor season runs from the beginning of May through the end of June. For players 13 – 18 years of age the outdoor schedule resumes for the month of September.
The games for the outdoor season vary depending on the age group. Even numbered ages (U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18) typically play on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays while odd numbered ages (U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17) typically play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Sundays.
The indoor season runs from mid-October through the end of March. Registration for the indoor season is generally the first 2 weeks of September. Games for all age groups are usually on the weekend but on occasion, weekday games may be scheduled. Practices are scheduled at the coach’s discretion and gym availability but are generally 1-weeknight per week.

Youth soccer cannot function without dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic volunteer coaches to foster a safe, inclusive, positive and fun environment for the children of our communities, and ensure they have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
If you’ve coached before and plan to do so again, thank you! If you haven’t coached before, we encourage you to consider doing so. We have workshops and resources available to help you get started and become a confident and capable coach. To learn more about coaching at your child’s age level (e.g. requirements, commitment, etc.) please reach out to Laura at youthsoccer@riverviewcc.ca or the WSEU Office at officemanager@wseu.ca
When you register, please indicate your willingness to serve as a Coach or Assistant Coach with your child’s team.

Does your child have a friend in the community who doesn’t currently play soccer, but may want to? Maybe they’re not sure where to start, or maybe they’ve never been asked before? Registration Details
Our expected registration fees for the 2023 recreational outdoor soccer season are as follows:
U09/10 $205 plus $46 (MSA) = $251 (paid by families)
U11/12 $210 plus $46 (MSA) = $256 (paid by families)
U13/18 $235 plus $46 (MSA) = $281 (paid by families)
Please read and follow the instructions provided on the registration site carefully.
How to Register:
Step 1: You will first need to register as a player with Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) and pay your $46 Licensing fee here. At the end of this process, you will receive an email receipt confirming payment with the MSA. In this email, there will be links to the various soccer clubs in Manitoba, IGNORE THESE LINKS, as they aren’t applicable to your youth players.
Step 2: Once you are done step 1, you will need to finalize your registration at Riverview Community Centre HERE. Register per the age division outlined above.
