As some Riverview folks may know, additional mass plantings have been done in Churchill Park, close to Eccles. At one of the work parties, plants were placed in the long-standing toboggan run site. Concerns were raised that night. Subsequent thought and discussion resulted in a plan to shift those plantings AWAY from the toboggan run.
So…. On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, FROM 6:30 – 8:00 PM, there will be a work party to move those plants. Meet at the toboggan run site. Bring gloves, water, shovels (tho’ the City will have some). Contact jeanaltemeyer@shaw.ca with questions OR to RSVP (in case the plan changes).
